e30 e36 diffs

was just wondering can i put a e30 diff in my e36

i'm not sure if the cover from the back will fit. you definately have to change it because the e36 diff is mounted with 2 bushings and the e30 one with 1.

not onlt that the speed sensor is not direct fit

e30 will not work on an e36 diff with either e36 or e30 back plate, and e36 one will not work on an e36 diff with e30 back cover......

Ah damn!

That answers my question about fitting a twin mount E36 diff cover to the E30 then! :(

Back to the drawing board! :roll:
