Hi,
I have read numerous amounts of info about the M50/M52, but now I'm in doubt of myself.
If the engine is an M52 with double Vanos. Does that automaticly mean that it's a M52TU?
I want an aluminum block with steel liners. And I thought that was the change in the TU, together with double Vanos.
Am I right? Or are there double Vanos blocks with nicasil coating as well?

The double vanos ones are the TU(technical update) ones afaik
Mines an alloy blocked one (M52B28). with IIRC an Alusil coating.
They also have bolted on,stiffening brackets for the main bearing caps as well.
