Has anyone noticed that old BMW's seem to look angrier compared to new BMW's.

In comparison to the melted-in-the-sun school of car design we're experiencing now, then yes, pre 1990's BMWs will look aggressive. But then again, so do all cars before 1990 - B2 VW Passat looks pissed off, Peugeot 304 looks irked, and an Austin Princess would smash out your teeth and nick your wallet if it was ever able to move. Rover SD1? Came with an Asbo as standard.

Front splitter thing needs to be black but apart from that :rasta:

No contest :? One's a bland repmobile devoid of any soul or character while the other's an iconic classic!

Absolutely.

Then again the blobby design of modern cars is more about pedestrian impact rules that style (afaik). You just can't get away with angular front these days, gotta have space between the bonnet and engine, can't have forward hinged bonnets, etc etc blah blah.

I'm sure I'd appreciate it if I was hit by a modern car though.
