I'm a fan of the evolve chip too, but can't forget Ant does them also and I had good results from that too.

Did you let it idle for 10 mins on fitting it to learn the base idle settings, prior to switching off then going for a drive?

That probably explains it then. You need to 'bed in' the chip properly for it to work at its best, rather like a set of new brake pads.

I didnt think ant did i.s. chips but maybe wrong
Know quite a few people who have evolve chips and if theres a problem i bet they would sort it .
Did you bed the chip in as mentined and what was so bad about it ?
You havent exactly explained what the problem is either

Ants chips are good but was unaware he did them for the i.s.
Hkf did you buy the chip direct or off someone else ?
Only reason i ask is the last few people i know that have bought them im sure they asked for ecu number ?
If you bought direct and your not happy ask for a refund ... simples

It doesn't "matter" as such - no harm will become of it, but you should in theory always allow the engine to idle for at least 10 minutes before switching off then driving as normal, otherwise there is the possibility of the idle running rough due to the base idle map being disturbed.
