Hi people and BARRY!!!!!

I sold you a set of second hand 20 year old alloys!!! You came and looked at the sets that I had and I gave you the choice of the four best wheels that I had!! We completed a good honest transaction for a set of SECONDHAND wheels!!!!! You contacted me a couple of weeks later to say that ONE of the wheels, and only ONE was buckled!!!! So off of my own back I said that I would replace it with one off of my OWN car! I didnt have to do that, but out decency I wanted to see you right! But then you contacted me to say that one of the wheels didnt have a very good finish after being painted!! Do you honestly think that has anything to with me??? I didnt,as I have already said, have a responsiblity to replace any of the wheels!!!! I was going to do it out of the goodness of my own heart!! But then you started hassling me as if it was your right to have replacements!!! I hope you are all still reading on because for me this is the worst bit!!! BARRY...through it all.....didnt I tell you..that two weeks after the transaction...THE MOTHER OF MY SONS DIED!!!!!! THAT WAS OVER TWO MONTHS AGO AND I STILL HAVNT SORTED ALL HER STUFF OUT!!! You have just had a child yourself and dispite my ANGER I hope all is going well there, but now it is time for you to GROW-UP!!!!!

Right lets get things straight, when i came to look at the wheels i said to you i wanted to jack up my car and try each individual wheel on a hub to check if they were straight as i told you i had been PREVIOUSLY STICHED UP with a buckled set of Hartges but you were in a rush to go out, you assured me they were straight as you said you had checked them out and i couldn't emphasise how much i wanted a non buckled set. As you should know it is hard to check if a wheel is straight with out putting it on a car or wheel balancer. As for the one wheel that i apparently couldn't get a good finish on, this wheel had been shot blasted to the point where it was scrap and had been painted thickly to hide.
When i initially called about the first buckled wheel i only told you about one, because i only took one to work at a time.I called you straight away as i thought it was best to resolve the situation, it was only a couple of days later when i contacted you a second time after you failed to call me back when you said you would, to inform you that the second one i checked was buckled so to see what you were going to do about it. This is when you told me about your the lost of a family member which i was sorry to hear , so you said you would contact me in two weeks. I waited two weeks and left it a further two weeks due to the circumstances before i decided to contact you as a month had passed by now after your initial assurances about replacement, you asked me to give another week and after this you just became more illusive so i gave up decided to take a loss.

DONT TELL ME TO GROW UP!!!!!!!!!

I have been totaly reasonable about this at all poits even to the point of still providing you with info on a car you were intested in buying after you starting to become illusive.

WHAT MAKES ME ANGRY IS THE FACT YOU RESPONDED TO MY WANTED AD AND GAVE ASSURANCES THAT THEY WERE WHAT YOU SAID THEY WERE. I PAID TOP MONEY FOR A SET THET NEEDED REFURBING (£450) AND NOW YOUR GETTING UPSET WITH SOME BAD FEEDBACK ON SOMETHING YOU SOLD NOT AS DESCRIBED,

DEAL WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!! I HAVE ,AND TOOK THE LOSS!!!!!!!

I have no comment to make on the above.

However, I very recently dealt with Rodderz involving a not insignificant sum of money.

He was honest, straightforward and accommodating. fitting in with my bizarre travel and timings. Unprompted, he directed me to this thread and when I said that I'd leave feedback told me not to bother.

Based on my personal experience, I'd be more than happy to deal with him again, in fact I hope to once he realises the bargain he missed out on and that he needs to move the cab' in his drive.

I also have dealt with Rodderz recently in a deal which involved me buying a cab from him.He was a true gent, got up very early on easter sunday to meet me,helped me load on to a trailer and was very truthful about the car.Not only did i have no problem atall with Rod but the vehicle i bought was a bargin.
He did inform me of his bad feedback that had been left for him,and everybody has a bad time now and again.I would have no problem dealing with him again and Im sure it was just a (large) family problem that got in the way of is deal with the wheels mentioned above.
