Moderator: martauto
ok scott - time to respond in public now .....you have had my payment for £70 since THE BEGINIING OF AUGUST and i have pm'd you numerous times
this was sent to me on AUG 4TH
"Sorry dude, been having trouble accessing my email and banking this week - pc prob. Will have it packed up tomorrow morning for you and on its way.
MASSIVE APPOLOGIES
Scott"
I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM YOU SINCE, BUT YOU HAVE BEEN REGUALRLY POSTING ON HERE IN THE PAST WEEK - EVEN SELLING ITEMS SO I KNOW YOU ARE AROUND.
THIS IS REALLY NOT GOOD - ZONERES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE HELPFUL TO EACH OTHER
PLEASE GET IN TOUCH OTHERWISE I WILL GET YOU BANNED FROM THE ZONE

Scott is one of the good guys so there must be a problem somewhere, apart from the obvious fact your gear hasn't turned up fella.
Not sure if some of the stuff he is selling is back in Wales and he has to get his old dear to post it off etc.
Anyway, I'm sure it will get sorted but I can understand your frustration and the need to post up in order to get things done.

i did think that with over 9000 posts to his name then he must be a regular !!!! my motto is "shit happens - its how you deal with it that matters" so as long as we can get things sorted i am not too bothered about the reasons !!!
thanks geeman !

I am not buying this - we all know someone witha PC or have one at work or can go to an internet cafe. if i had some goods to send and i had recieved money i would go out of my way to find a PC and get the details and send the goods. anyway he had my address weeks ago.
any advice out there ?? this is not the way is supposed to be on the zone !
any of the admin team reading this PM me and i will tell you the culprit - you can then advise if there have been problems before. thanks

I've got a 'psr' here intact with the resivoir, hoses + pump that i can give to Giles (Geeman) on sunday and he can drop it off to you as mentioned above.
I'll speak to Scott regarding this as i know the rack your on about is in Wales - this above mentioned way may be easier and faster for you in the long run?
Neil.

cool - that sounds like a great idea. its a PAS setup - rack, pump, pipes, reservoir etc ... tell him i want a refund for the carriage/courier though !!!!. i would be really grateful if you could do this - i live on the north of Lincoln only 1 mile off the A46 so you will be driving right past me (village name is Scothern - its near welton/nettleham)

Dude
Scott's a top bloke, good to do business with and a most trusted person. From his posts he seems pretty busy rushing between the South East and Wales, maybe an oversight on his part this time.
It'll all come good in the end.

thanks for all the words of encouragement about scott - i do feel better. i have only been a zoner for less than a year and the only other item i bought was an engine from Argos which was different as he lives near me and i collected and handed over cash. i was beginning to wonder about doing business on here but you have restored my faith.
NELLY - i am happy to accept your offer as long as things are sorted with scotty - he has my money so perhaps we can organise for him to pay you ?
stupid question - what is happening sunday and where (is it gaydon ??) -what is it and should i come down in the cab ? (might be tricky as the missus is 3 weeks away from giving birth to our 2nd little boy !)

If this is the root we're gonna take then i'll make sure the rack is at it's most dirtyest state to match the mind of the limo driver LOL.
On a more serious note - i have no problem doing this as long as Giles and Scott don't, the rack is complete and intact ie, all the resivour, pipe work, pump, rack are all still together and havn't been split apart - i think i've even got the belt for it here?
This should be a better option as i see Scott at least a couple of times a week atm.
Neil.

Come down to Gaydon then... it's an early start... gotta aim to be there for 8.30am to get a decent parkign place!
Think I'll be going via Leicester to pick up Kedge (he can't drive with his hand, bless him) and then on to Gaydon. Welcome to tag along if you like...
My main aim while I'm there (apart from bagging a few young girls who don't know me into the shag room that is the back seat of the limo - Oh, Argos would be proud of the rear and side blinds) is to find a set of decent 18" rims for the barge... so might not have loads of room left if I find a set as I'm not going to just bin the old ones! lol - Will bring large sheets with me just in case I have to use the back seat as a load lugger. Got a full set of 16's in the boot, but 18's are a different matter.

Ive had some issues with Scott as well recently, but ive seen too many positive feedbacks for him that for some reason i feel he will complete his side of the transaction....... and hopefully real soon
everyone keeps saying that but i have pm'd him several times and emailed him direct and no response. he has had my money since the 31st july and promised to send it the next day . imy car is going into the garag tomorrow for the new engine to be fitted and i was going to get the PAS fitted then. this delay has buggered my plans up. he keeps logging in and posting messages as i am tracking his zone activity but he does not respond. I THINK HIS ZONE ACCESS SHOULD BE SUSPENDED UNTIL HE MAKES CONTACT.

could it possible his mailbox is full?
he has been emailed direct plus other zoners who know him have texted him today. he said on aug 4th "will put it in the post tomorrow". its not as if he needs reminding that he is £70 richer and still has the PAS rack sat in his garage is it !!!! you offer to do business with someone then you should carry it out. as soon as i sell goods i get them out within 48hrs - i know we all dont work that quick but its been 2 weeks. also a simple - sorry i have been on holiday / ill / working away etc will do. if he can post on here at 8.45 tonight then he cant be away or have internet problems can he !!!! ??. you may think i am being harsh but i dont think so - this is supposed to be a "community" and i feel let down !

no need. im here. Thank you to those who have contacted me to let me know about this thread, i appriciate it!
Yes, i have been logged into the zone since god-knows when. as soon as i get home from work, i switch my laptop on to do more work. Turning my laptop on and plugging in logs me in automatically. As i get through my work, my break is a post or 3 on the zone. I answer the last couple of email notifications that i recieve. If i dont get to the bottom one(oldest one) then i dont answer the post.
Mahmood was spot on with my main problem in making sure i have sent everything to people promptly. Majority of my parts are in west wales where as im in st albans sunday night till friday afternoon. i spend 5 hours each way driving to and from wales, so my time is almost non-existent.
This, however, does not make my negligence in forgetting to send your PAS setup in any form of acceptable timescale okay. Its not and i will not argue or question that at all.
I will happily give you the option of what you would prefer - I have the PAS setup set aside for you in wales as it has been for weeks (maybe its set TOO far aside) or i will send you your money back. Of course i wanted you to get the parts you wanted and i wanted our transactions to go smoothly but I fucked that up by forgetting to send it. Theoption is OF COURSE up to you. Money back or item as described. If you want the PAS setup still, i'll pack some foamy beverages as an appology and will endeavour to make 100% sure that i dont fuck things up like I have done in recent weeks.
Nasir, your spoiler is a shorter story (unfortunately)
Packed spoiler (bubbled to the nines, card wrapped roundit all) put note on it saying "Spoiler for Nas' please send parcel force 24hr" and put it in the living room next to the stairs. I go back to st albans on the sunday night and think everythings gonna be coolio. Thought as i always do "mum will have that off tomorrow morning for me" as shes always top form with zone parcels. Mum cleans up and put parcel under the stairs allong with loads of other crap. Parcels at the back hidden by now and while im trying to find the tracking number for it, mum hant got a clue what im looking for . Saw this thread and got on the phone. spoiler is still under the stairs where mum left it. "i thought u wanted it kept safe" is what she said.
So Nas, your spoiler is STILL here.
but then again, no matter how much my mum says she'll do, i shouldnt rely on her to do anything for mr. needless to say that your spoiler will be going sat morningasap.

Good to hear from you Scott, I knew there would be a good reason behind all this, and infact I appreciate the honesty.
I wasnt hesitant in sending my parcel to you coz I cpuld clearly see you as a credit to the zone and all the good feedback left for you.
It was just the fact that my mails wernt being replied to, that concearned me.
The reason I kept on pushing you was because I needed the spoiler to go in the bodyshop with my front bumper, jst so I could save a few bob and a bit of time. More importantly have it on my car for Gaydon
If youre going to Gaydon then why dont you bring it dwn and we'll just split the courier cost?
Scott - thanks for your honesty and apology....apology accepted. so to the next steps......
are you going to gaydon ?? and can you get the PAS setup there (geeman lives near me and has offered to collect). if not the other option is that nelly has a PAS setup that he can get to gaydon for geeman to pick up for me....i could arrange to get this off him and you could give him the cash i sent you.
let me know what option is best for you
cheers

Nas, thats more than generous! I will bring both your old tech 2 and my tech 1 allong. I will repay you for the carriage you will have incurred sending your tech 2 down to me and you can take a look at the tech 1. if youre hapy, its yours and i'll sort carriage as mentioned and buy you some beers or lunch or something.
Jonathan, i recieved your PM and thought it best i reply in public due to the situation.
Yes i am going to Gaydon and i can bring the PAS setp with me if you wish me to. As I said, the closeure of this situation will be when YOU are happy. I dont like pi55ing people off, which I have clearly done here with you and Nas, so I want to make sure that you two guys are happy when this is all done.
The PAS setup I believe Nelly refers to came off my white 325iSE breaker that we stripped last week. The rack on that was covered in sh1te and I wouldnt be able to tell 100% if it was leaking or not, so I dont want to encourage you to have that 1. If Neil has a different setup, then thats a different matter, but i know the one that came off my white breaker isnt clean enuf for me to be happy sending it to you. If you were to be at Gaydon, I would also be offerign you luch and beers too. If Giles ends up taking the PAS setup for me/you, then i will send some beverages up with him (and some dosh for his troubles too)
Whats your opinions on this please gents? Please let me know.
Thank you.

i wont be going to gaydon afterall - its too far for me to be away from home as my wife is pregnant and due any time !!!. If i understand you correctly you are saying that the ORIGINAL pas setup that you were going to send me in the post could be brought to gaydon - is that right ?? . i am happy with that one if you think it is OK.
if i have understood this correctly then please send this set up with Giles. your offer of beverages / lunch is noted and appreciated- sorry i wont be there to take you up on the offer (and to meet you and poke your eyes out for messing me about !!! LOL
)
let me know if this sounds suitable (obviously we need to get Giles to agree as well). if not i am still happy to receive the original setup in the post/courier but i am sure this will be more of a ball ache for both of us.
cheers
