I really did not want to do this and please believe that i say that with all honesty, but enough is really enough
Boyd owes a pal of mine £400 from over 12 months ago. We have not seen the parts or the money. We have had every excuse under the sun (text messages to prove)...lost cheques....lost cheques again....today...tomorrow...all sorts.
I know you guys will say there is 2 sides to every story but this is a simple case of not getting what my pal has paid for.
Can someone please help. I have approached a couple of guys about this but people are reluctant to help these days.

I think cecotto479 "used" to get good feedback, but looking at other forums, we are not the only ones that are having problems getting parts or money from him.
I have personally dealt with him on 2 occassions and on both he delivered, however with my Pal, he has taken the mick for 12 months. £400 is not to be sneazed at. Boyd, if you are reading this, i invite you to comment, however please do not lie but report facts. Rather than reply, i would prefer it if you just repaid Gary's money to him like you keep promising.
Mod's - Is there anyway you guys can help ?

Never had any problems with cecotto479 boyd and have dealt with him a couple of times, he went the extra mile for me dropping of my engine at my door, then helping me get it into my garage without a crane.
Going by the condition of his 6 series and the size of his house in the pictures of it that I seen on his website, i don't think he'd be struggling to pay you your £400 and must have a good reason for his actions

Unfortunately I am also in the same boat, have been waiting 10 months for delivery of my item. I know the weather has been really bad this past week or so but that doesn't take into account the previous 8 months (was on holiday for 1 month) where the weather has been fine?
Don't get me wrong, the bloke seems genuine but this is far from professional seeing as he's also a trader

I'm not one to talk, plus I've not had a transaction with Cecotto but I'm with imys & mobster he's a selective serial con man, not only Gary & imys are out of pocket by the sounds, but I know other zoners owed that kind of cash..
I was approached by Cecotto on here when he got wind of a deal I was making we exchanged numbers & he pushed and pushed for business. I got repeated phone calls for a service I clearly said I wasn't interested in, then received abuse over the phone..
Not surprised to hear there are others in the same predicament.

Boyd gives every excuse under the sun, what he hasnt given my pal is the money or his parts. He is clearly hard up for money, what other reason could there be but you cant just take peoples money and not deliver goods, not refund the money and stop answering calls or reply to text messages.

Az, it has nothing to do with you or E30Zone. Why get involved? Get Gary to contact me and I'll sort it out. I've told you that often.
Barx, you need to be very careful what you're saying. You've never ever dealt with me and are in no position to be bandying about these sort of remarks. If you are who I think you are, you're on mind altering drugs and wasted my time with tales of stuff you never had and a car you wanted moving. Nutter IMO. If that's not you, I apologise.
Imy, you've been kept fully informed and I've tried to deliver your stuff personally to avoid it getting damaged and did you a real good deal because you'd been mucked about - by someone else I bought parts from.
I'm here. I'm not hiding if anyone had s problem, plea let me know.

Boyd, i requested that you do not mislead people and that is exactly what you are doing. Gary has tried to call you on several times but you dont answer his calls or text messages. I can confirm that as that is what you do when i try and call you about the matter. You have told Gary that you have sent his money to him several times, and it never appeared. I asked you to send it to him recorded delivery or bank it into his bank and you said you would. You didnt...that was 4 months ago. I have text messages from you saying you would send him his money...you havent. It is very simple, send him his money....he has no interest in dealing with you......that interest expired months ago. This matter is 12 months old now. Why should Gary call you, you are the one that owes him money, you should call him !!! Will Gary get his refund next week ? Weather is bad in Scotland, but Special Delivery mail is priority, i have checked. Can you confirm that you will be sending Gary £400 on Monday by Special Delivery.

Royal Mail is not guarenteeing Special Delivery now Mobster.mobster wrote: Weather is bad in Scotland, but Special Delivery mail is priority, i have checked.
"Temporary withdrawal of the Special Deliveryâ„¢ guarantee
The Special Deliveryâ„¢ guarantee has been temporarily withdrawn for all SD items posted since Wednesday 1st December 2010. Although we are continuing to accept, prioritise and expect to deliver the majority of Special Deliveryâ„¢ items at this time, the continuing severe weather conditions mean we cannot guarantee the delivery of items the next day in all areas.
We will restore the guarantee of delivery as soon as we can be sure we can honour the service promise in full. "

I have been in touch with him and (with his permission) I'll post what I said to him if you like. However, this thread is,
A. None of your business. You are not involved in this transaction.
You and I have dealt with each other twice. On both those occasions, I went out of my way - literally on the first occasion - meeting you at somewhere convenient to you because of family commitments and taking a cheque from you when you didn't bring the agreed cash. The second time, you took so long to pay that I could only meet your delivery requirements by swallowing the Saturday delivery fee - when that didn't work, I arranged for you to collect the item, so you could get your profit. We'll ignore the way you dealt with my pal over your Alpina C1 as other than to put the two of you together (which is much more than your involvement in this transaction), it had nothing to do with me. See the distinction? But you know my views. Anything you say in relation to anything other than those two transactions is worthless hearsay. And,
B. Nothing AT ALL to do with E30 Zone.
However, it is disingenuous or symptomatic of your lack of knowledge of the detail at least to say that your pal has been waiting for 12 months. The whole deal may have strung out that long, but for a good proportion of it, I was the only one out of pocket. It is equally misleading or symptomatic of your lack of knowledge of the detail to make it sound as though it was "man pays for parts, man doesn't get parts". It was a complicated deal involving parts, cash and a car and, as I said earlier, for a good period, I was the one who had supplied parts without payment.
Anyway, none of this takes away from the fundamental fact that your man is due a refund, and should have had it long before now. I have contacted him, explained and apologised and arranged to sort it out.

I was asked by Gary if i know who you are as he was having problems getting 2 gear boxes from you. I got involved. If you have a problem with my involvement, i would speak to Gary.
I didnt want to discuss what has happened between me and you but since you be keen to discuss this, i will set the record straight.
The first time i dealt with you, indeed i gave you a cheque. You failed to bring all of the parts with you. You banked the cheque and then took over 3 weeks to send me the remaining parts because you claimed my cheque had not cleared. The cheque cleared within 3 days. Then you said it was your bank had made a mistake.....sounds all very familiar.
The second time i dealt with you i purchased a dogleg gearbox from you. The reason i was late paying was because you do not accept paypal (wonder why) and i ended up sending cash in the post via Special Delivery. I told you that someone was coming from Belgium to collect the gearbox on Sunday and i needed the box at my house for Friday. You failed. You then claimed to have arranged a saturday delivery but that didnt happen either. Eventually i had to send someone to London to collect the gearbox from the guy you bought it from. That was the easiest money you earned as i collected the box from the guy you bought it from.
What is interesting is that you asked me to give Gary 2 of my Dogleg gearboxes to keep him happy and you would return the gearboxes to me within a couple of days. I refused to do that as that was 9 months ago and Gary has still not seen his Gearboxes or cash. If i had done that, it would have been me chasing you - no thanks
I could post various links on here with people who have had problens with you, but i really cant be bothered with this, i just want you to give Gary's money back and the sooner that happens, the better.
