My faith in human nature is becoming restored after the appalling way I had been treated by another so called "specialist :x " but enough about that.....

My beautiful car has just come back from Chris' and it is like driving my old boy, just fantastic thank you so much Chris as I said when I picked it up today no-one else will ever touch my baby again.

All thats missing is better weather and new boots (which will be on order asap) so I can put him through his paces properly.

Sorry just had to post where people will know where I'm coming from.

A very very happy :D ...

I got a coolant level sensor off Chris. When it came it was faulty and it didn't work. So I had to buy a new one.

Chris did offer to replace the faulty unit, but to be honest I would have rathered just get a working one in the first place. Plus what if the second one was faulty too?

Not a massive complaint, and I'm not pissed off about it or anything. But worth a mention I thought.
Anyone who knows of an S50 B32/B30 E30 for sale, please let me know.

He doesn't make them though, he also offered to get you another one. I only say something as on the odd ocasion we unknowning sell a faulty part/ tyre all you can do is offer a replacement.
Pisses me right off when customers start acting like your dodgy because of a manufacturing defect.
Rant over

I did point out that he offered a replacement. I should have just bought a new one first day, but I didn't.

Therefore I'm as much to blame as anyone for taking the risk on a secondhand part. There's an element of risk for both buyer and seller with secondhand bits.

I never implied for a second that he was dodgy. All i did was say what happened.

End of story.

Oh believe me I will do but I am attempting to get some justification at the moment the legal way so would rather stay quite for the moment... having said that ..... no better not as tempting as it is but as soon as I've taken it as far as I can I will as I don't feel it is right for other unsuspecting customers to go through the hell I've been through.

All has come good in the end though my boy is on the road to perfection albeit a long one still ahead... I WILL NOT give up  I'll keep you posted with my progress
