Not good!
Sent money for an abs sensor about a month ago.
No part received, communication few and far between and I'm £15 down.
My first bad experience with a 'Zoner, shame.

Sorry chaps. Moving premises and banks and taken on too much at the wrong time. It's got a bit out of control. I'll get it all sorted out immediately. Nobody will be out of pocket. PMs sent as appropriate.

Got my leather steering wheel in the condition described, for a nice price, and delivered within a reasonable time frame (given the bad weather on Scotland).
Would do business with again.

OK, ready for a saga?
I responded to a thread on bmw5 about a year ago. I wanted a shadowline light and a fuel pump relay for an E28, both of which he had listed in the thread. We agreed on £43 and, against my better judgement, but because some of the members on there assured me he was an ok guy, I put the money in his bank account.
Nothing happened for weeks - no response to PMs etc. Eventually I got a few replies telling me about his elderly relations ill health and how busy he was. I decided to be nice about it and let it go. Nothing ever arrived.
Much, much later he surfaced on here so I pmed him and said I wanted to get it sorted. He assures me I can have a refund anytime I like, but doesn't actually ask for my bank account details or anything like that. I said something along the lines of 'I'd rather do a deal and get some stuff I need than a refund', still trying to keep it amicable.
Much much later (about 6 weeks ago) I bought a heater valve for £24.95 (described as 'Stripped, cleaned, lubed and tested - guaranteed working. ') from an ebay seller and paid him immediately by paypal.
I get a message saying that my paypal transaction has been declined. Hmmmmm, odd. I then get a reply saying that Paypal are messing him round (oh, really???) and would I please put it in his bank account instead. Signed Boyd.
So I reply and say 'Boyd? As in cecotto479 Boyd? In that case you owe me £43. How bout you send me the valve and a 20?'
A few days later a valve which hasn't been stripped, cleaned or lubed arrives, along with a twenty pound note. He then relists the good one on ebay immediately.
This pillock is banned from bmw5 now, and I hear he's not very welcome on bigcoupe either. I wouldn't deal with him again in a million years, despite the fact that some people seem to have fine transactions with him....

Quite a lot missed out of that diatribe, isn't there, Patrick?
Like the two or three PMs and messages I sent you after you suggested parts rather than a refund asking you what you were looking for that were not replied to?
Like the immediate agreement to your suggestion of cash plus the heater valve?
I have a number of E24/28 heater valves, not surprisingly.
Like the positive feedback you left on eBay? " Thanks. Pleasant transaction. Great to deal with." - left 27/1 - more like 12 weeks ago. I had no idea you aren't happy till I read this. You never contacted me after receiving it, only left positive feedback. What was I to think? I thought we were sorted - hardly unreasonable after the passage of so long and your only communication being positive eBay feedback. If you changed your mind, surely you should have contacted me? You now obviously don't think we're sorted. I know for a fact that valve was working. I tested it before I sent it. Nonetheless, PM me your details and I'll refund you immediately. Now. Today.
I'm not, to my knowledge, banned from anywhere, certainly not BMW5. I posted on there just a few weeks ago. Don't feel the need to apologise, just get your facts straight before making accusations, please.
My family and I had a very difficult time last year nursing my very elderly father in law who lived with us, and business did indeed suffer as a result. It's all over and done with now and things have been back to normal for some time - as is evidenced by my recent feedback on eBay and here.
All you had to do was get in touch.
I don't know what sparked this off today.

No, I sent you a list of parts I needed. That was the last I heard. I left the feedback before I received the valve, like a pillock, because I was still giving you the benefit of the doubt.
One of the admins on bmw5 told me you were no longer welcome there (after I messaged him objecting to his locking of a thread which was rapidly filling up with people saying 'Boyd took my cash and didn't send me anything' and similar). I'll take his word before yours. Someone else told me 'quite a few people on bigcoupe who would like to get their hands on you'.
Just look at the string of people saying you're a dodgy geezer and get real - have you treated people as you'd like to be treated?

Not always no, I accept that there have been difficulties in the past, but I'm no conman and will always fix what is wrong, if it's my responsibility.
I received no list of parts from you.
The feedback was left three days or so after I posted it. I recollect, because I was keen to get you sorted out. You had either received it or did the next day. Coincidence that you wait till you could have received it , but hadn't, to leave positive feedback for someone you consider to be a conman? Nonsense.
PM me your details and I'll refund you. Keep the heater valve that you and I both know is in perfect working order - or was when you got it and left positive feedback for it three months ago.
And why nothing before now? Surely the fact that I sent you it immediately, plus the crisp Scottish £20 was an indication that I wanted to get you sorted out?

I just don't understand this. Put yourself in my shoes, Patrick. How am I expected to know you have a problem?
I send you the part and cash as agreed. A few days later, you leave positive feedback and I hear nothing more until this - 3 months later!
Even now, you presumably accept that the valve works - as I know for sure it does? Your complaint appears to be that it apparently hadn't been dismantled and lubed and that I listed another of about six that I have - check my feedback, I've sold three or four - immediately.
I think there's more to this than meets the eye, but I've no idea what.
