Mandeep_VW NEGATIVE!!

Bought two Alpine steroes from him.

He told me that one of them had a faulty tilt motor and the other one workd fine. I took his word for it..

Wired them up and guess what?? the one with the faulty tilt doesnt even work, the buttons have jammed ad is stuck in demo mode. none of the buttons on the fascia work

The one which should have been working has a sticky forward button. In other words you cant listen to and cd's as it skips onto the next track whenever it feels like it.

I have dropped him a PM and didn't get a reply.

Maybe it's an honest mistake, maybe not.
Just a heads up for fellow zoners.

bit of an inconvenience but cant you unstick the sticky button? i wonder what he does with them to fook up all the buttons? ive never managed to do that on 1 sterio never mind 2?

I have already tried to unstick it, no joy..

No idea what he has done with them..

All I know is tyat he must have known, makes me look like an idiot..
The good one was supposed to go in my misses' mini and the one with a tilt issue in my e30..I know need to buy two new stereo's and am already £100 in the minus!

Nope.he had them advertised on the zone untill the mods got rid of the ad.
Was listed along with tweeter pods..

I was probably the first to see the ad and it seemed like a good deal..

Alright chaps..

I don't want to give any bad impressions of Mandeep, maybe it was an honest mistake..
Lets give him a few days to defend himself.

I just thought it would be a good idea to make people aware of what happened, that's all.

Looks like he knew what he was doing all along.

Sod it, if he needs the money more than I do then he can keep it.
