I havent seen him online since so i assume he has re-registered under another name (thoguh i suspect he had 2 usernames for a while)

thanks for the sdvice but it just aint worth the hassle!

thanks for the very kind offer of donations but there really aint any need, i just wanted to warn other zoners.

Should do what the S14.net mods done - change his name for something completely absurd.

I think they named the offender, "I eat cum", or thereabouts.

He couldnt shake the name off, and still uses it to this day, despite being asked why his name is what it is on every post ...

Worked quite well i thought.

Just my thoughts,

Do we know what part of Plymouth he is from? Ill drive round there and if I see the bits in his garden I'll (cough) keep an eye on it.... :thumb:

The term hides is a technical term only, no inference meant

it would be a good idea banning ppl buying or selling untill they have built up so many posts or feed back but then thats going to bugger up honest ppl that stumble across the zone and are looking for parts for there e30.. im a e30 newbie and so far have only got 93 posts ( this will be my 94th ) i dont know much about the feedback system on the zone all i know is i have had sevrel deals on the zone buying and selling ive sold a car and a fair bit of spares ive also bought a fair bit of spares and ive not had a bad deal buying or selling but im here as a genuine e30 lover thats not got a rake of cash and the zone is my life line for my 2 cars. it angers the hell out of me hearing about ppl getting ripped off anywhere but certainly on here where in my eyes all the zoners should stick together as we all have one thing in common and thats why we are all here!!!!! could it be an idea when applying to the zone you need to confirm your address or even a landline number? i know this could be a bit extra work for the zone team but im sure genuine zoners would even help with the extra work load.. i know i would happily help even though im a newbie.

Only just noticed this

IMO their names and addresses should go into a thread and be stickied in the for sale and wanted threads.
That way if your unsure of someone you just check the thread :D

Bit harsh but if they are hiding their IP then they deserve it.

Will also be a good deterent to any wanabe rip of merchants winkeye

I would say a postal address should be shown too, just to stop any name changes catching people out, at least then we'd all know who we're dealing with. Maybe one of the mods should keep a list of personal addresses.

Cant be as bad as the DVLA 'selling' peoples details though can it.

Data Protection Act no longer exists IMO, if it does then why do we keep getting indians on the phone of an evening? :?
