what exactly do you need from me ?

I supplied you all you needed to fit a K&N filter to your turd for £30 posted to your door, of course you can buy new for £60+ shipping, and you using the K&N website as reference is completely irrelevant ...you bought a kit from me second hand,

but if you spend around £1 on screws you will be making induction noises with what i sent you..

here's what you got from my for sale ad...

I didn't state i will include fixings or instructions, or pop around to your house and fit it ?

if your still struggling to get this to work by using 4 screws and tightening a jubilee clip, I suggest the only thing left to do is stick it up your ar5e and see what noises you can make ?

cheers .. Steve,

I expect 90% of the dodgy council types that bought these kits still have the countersunk bolts knocking around in a random pot at home, and just used the standard nuts and wedges the cone past them.

Steve will have removed the kit from the car it was fitted to, so will have known it fitted. if it appeared to use standard fixings then i expect he (like i would have ) wouldnt have bothered to include them as you probably already have them on your car.

He is not an official k&n dealer, i doubt he spends hours researching every single part he sells. He takes bits off a car, advertises them, sells them.

if you expect every single nut, bolt, washer and fitting instructions then it might be a better idea to stick to brand new parts.

I understand your frustration at not being able to fit your nice new toy straight away, but it's a pretty minor issue, and the problem is more the fault of the previous owner for not fitting it correctly than steve trying to con or rip you off imho.
cheers,

harry

The stud goes straight through so it wouldn't have to be an exact science. I'm not 100% on measuring a thread size and I have nothing more accurate than a tape measure.. I guess I can measure say, the distance across 10 threads then divide by 10 rather than actually trying to measure the distance between two? :D

I am interested to know from Steve how it was actually mounted to the AFM then, to clear all this up. I guess if he looks at the AFM that was removed (if it's not already been sold) and it doesn't have studs in, that answers it.

My point with this is that I'm trying to resolve a problem with something I've bought. I know I can go and buy screws myself but I shouldn't have to. I resorted to the public thread because Steve wouldn't reply to me.
Shut the fuck up, you whiney little bitch
