Now i don't know much, but i do know this is bollocks.

[quote="Demlotcrew"] Im not bitter about you making a few quid with the exhaust, nor am i bitter about the £100 M3 suspension you picked up from a scrap yard in east london and sold it to goosiegander for over £1000
[quote]

I personally removed goosie's suspension from Dans m3!!

Yes because the legs he is going to be using on his M3 are from the scrap yard which he bought for £100 so he sold his set from the M3

Is there anything special about these springs Andrew? I owe Dan a favour, perhaps I can get some from work and send them to you?

Then everyone would be happy?

So how much did the set cost that were on Dan's M3 included in the asking price???

The ones that got sold FFS.

I go back to my earlier point. How fooking petty!!!

The thread is about the experience i had with Jhonno, can everyone please refrain from posting rubbish as it will simply be deleted.

Over you Dan.
Okay, i'll post on the above(as it relates directly to me), the suspension sold to me for £1k (the going rate for a complete front and rear axle including good alloy wishbones, dampers/springs/calipers) i saw arrive on the M3 Dan purchased in germany and subsequently helped him and Penton08 remove from it from the car. I remain very happy with my purchase :D

As for the rest, the txt sent by dan is dated 11 sep 2008 and is only just visible, its totally subjective and remains your word against his until you produce a bank statement for the returned cheque, the following txt from you is almost three years later...

As for the deleting of posts, that is the moderators right and responsibility but can you honestly be objective in this thread?

If you want then please act like a team member, something that -no offence ment in any way- this thread is not becoming of,

Brgds,

Chris :D

i dont see the significance of the m3 suspension? dan seems to have scored himself a bargain from a scrappy and therefore sold on his suspension for the going rate for which the buyer id assume was happy to pay.
nothing whatso ever to do with this imo.
theres only one person i can see posting rubbish here .this whole threads an embarrasment and should be deleted.

Have you got a cracked M3 center section, without springs that you need to rip someone off with like?

if i could offer a zone newbies perspective? if i ran a thread like this on another forum that i have mod priveledges on, i would be shot by the owner of the site for making the site look bad. i don't know either party, but all i will say is, neither of you will come out of this any better at the end in my humble opinion. it just looks like a slanging match.

no offence intended either way, just an 'outside' viewpoint :(

Lee.

Groovylee,

It's important here on the zone to be frank about some things (if it occurred through the zone) as we're a specialist forum where the membership often meet at least once during 'their time'. We have something like 50k members but only 300-odd (and odd) online at any one time, most days.

As you & everyone knows the Internet can mask a great deal. No one should ever feel unwelcome outside of the zone at a meet, show or just a pint with zone friends. Being open to criticism then separates those that should and shouldn't be here. The job of the moderators right up to the admin is to ensure that this occurs in a manner where important issues are sorted out there and then so we can all move on. It 'aint pretty while it lasts for the typically 24hours but I'd rather not have some zoners being seen to cull people they don't approve of nor team members ban threads that ask questions beyond that expected. I say 'I' because I haven't asked the guys, though I'm sure they would agree.

Again, I'd rather members here spoke about issues, which yes finds the forum in the odd pooheap, but results in the good times being VERY good. In time the forum will slowly change again and attitudes will change but right now we're neither a boys club nor an iron fist watching every sentence. In the middle, no stress for anyone but those causing it.

Andrew's had his feedback thread heard, Dan's had his say in response in-line with feedback procedure. I have it that Dan doesn't wish to say any more on the matter, a few others have said what they think happened and so let's close the book on this one due to no one wanting money - part of the reason for keeping this open. I wished you boys to shake hands on this but considering as of 10AM yesterday morning I had bad feeling from both, we've done alright and neither should feel ashamed for speaking up about something they feel strongly about.

There's work to do now on finding out what was said then deleted and a few other things. Goodnight.
