Sounds like a wild goose chase to me
Did you get the reg number of the blue 325i Touring as it drove past, I would have run after it arms flailing after having driven all that way!
Didnt get the reg - but quickly jumped in my car and gave chase, but he was long gone unfortunately.
I've done some digging and managed to find out who he is - so will send him the fuel bill for my wasted journey!

Drowningman U mean Chris?.
He was an estate agent then he went to vauxhall and know he does sell cars for bmw.
None of its lies
He's a decent bloke really and has very realistic views on what e30s are worth
He can just be very hard to get hold off. He has an e30 collection to die for he's also worked at fritzs bits ask richard.
I know he can be abit of a nitemare to get in touch with but hes not a C*nt. So to speak.
He sold me an an e21 323i yesterday and cars seems brilliant

He lives near me, i know him from fritzs bits, paddock bm specialists, and drag racing at smeatharpe with his company 335d.
Dont really care what u say about him, just saying he seems ok, if not a little eccentric like someone else wrote

well said fuzzy! i dont know the guy from adam but from what ive read on here he already seems to be a let down and a liar. messing people who drive 160 miles about, ignoring phone calls and lying about previous "customers" is not what most people would call "eccentric", more a four letter word i suspect!

if i had driven 160 miles to see a car that didn't exist/was no longer for sale then the name drowningman might well be a reality when i got my hands on him no matter what the excuse ! a simple phone call would have been enough?
seems obvious that you were messed about

Fritz, could you pass a message to Drownigman, tell him he IS a coont, Drowningman could you pass the same message on to fritz. Oh, and if you are going to choose an alter ego, it's probably better to choose one that is'nt the same personality. Did you really think it would be that easy?

Just read through this and i have to say what a tit. There is no excuses to act this way its just sad and pathetic behavior and i don't really see the point to it at all. Some people really do need to get a life and stop wasting that of other decent folk. Shame on you fool!

You might not care what others say about your alter ego, but he IS a time waster, and no one likes a time waster

No, it's Susan.
This individual reminds me of a Viz cartoon character called "Aldridge Prior, the hopeless liar".

Yes, I looked at this car before you bought it and his description over the phone was somewhat different when I viewed it!
I also remember he wouldnt accept the £250 I offered for it, you must have bribed him with some werthers Pete
He was a loser and a messer then and clearly still is.
As for the Fritz bitz thing, maybe someone could point randomdave in the direction of this thread as he DOES work at Fritz bitz!!

I can assure you richard wont lie
While I'm not involved in this matter in the slightest I can't help but think you've completely lost the plot with that statement. Isn't the point of this little discussion a question over your integrity? If so I'm impressed by your ability to function given your stupidity, I expect your assurance is worth exactly nothing.
