In fear of running against the tide of opinion I have to admit my dealings with Steve have been good. I picked up my manifold in person and he is sending the center pipe (which wasn't included in the deal) on for me when I come back to the UK.
I cannot comment on the dealings others have had with him as I don't know the details and it would be wrong for me to speak out. I do hope for the sake of all concerned that this is all cleared up and everyone comes out on top.

I think the people involved in these misunderstandings have seriously had a communication (lack of) issue. These zoners and Steve should be communicating with each other (which obviously hasn't happened) to rectify the situation.

Maybe now that we've established the fact that Steve was indeed on holiday - we can attribute the whole lack of communication to this?

Still Steve, i must say, the more information people have about their newly purchased goods whilst in transit - the better.

What needs to be clarified is that this Zoners response was rubbish, considering another Zoner is £650 out of pocket.

His response should have been like this:

Hi guys, Very sorry for the mix up. I have refunded the Canadian in full and am tracking down the MTECH kit. If he still wants it when I get it back I will be happy to ship it again -£50 for the headache.

Like I said before no one has been ripped off , if anyone feels they have im here show me.

Im not going to argue on this thread with people who don't know anything about this, but there has been lots of emails between myself,E30sleeper and another party. As stated before we thought he received the kit the tracking number said it had been signed for when we realised the mistake we tried to sort it. E30Sleeper said ( in an email) he was not bothered how long it took as long as he got the kit so we tried to get it and the rest you know... As said before not his problem and it was left for him to return the fixing kit and he was to be issued with a refund.

E30Sleeper can you just go to paypal raise a dispute with the payment you made and you will be issued a refund, that way it is all tied up in the same transaction simple as.

The offer is still there anyone who wants to talk to me face to face im here.

Eh - read the thread title, posted by E30 sleeper. I think everyones point is that he shouldn't have anything to do - you have his money and he doesnt have his kit - that is the bottom line here minus all the smoke and mirrors.

I think your making the mistake of thinking that you are more intelligent than people on here and as a consequence trying to respond as though we are all mugs.

Just give the E30 sleeper his money back and then we can move onto who you are - other akas etc.

The zone is a community built upon everyones love for E30s and is a place where we can interact with other 'like minded' people (with dignity, respect plus the odd wind up) - you appear to be using it as a platform to rip people off or more specifically E30 sleeper - its solved easily just refund his money.
