Lee purchased a starter motor from me, and paid me via paypal so I couldnt ask for better.
Sadly I couldnt remove the starter and have had to refund him, I dont like going back on things and have apologised.

Is there a way of put the word's Trusted or untrusted member next to the newbie, addict, squatter ect until a certain amount of good feedback has been reached.. Just a thought.. and sorry to hear of another zoner being ripped off dobbie, If i sell something to someone I have not met, I give them an account number & sort code.
Ask them to pay it into that and as soon as it shows clear then I post. This way they feel comfortable as they have all my details and can track me down... and if they really want the part/s they are happy to pay first anyway.

For my part I've never sold anything off the zone but have bought a few things (including my 318iS) and have never dealt with a more honest, trustworthy bunch of people who are willing to help out in any way possible, shame the experience is not the same for everyone.

No I just gave up I wont hound him for the cash or skirts, i had the skirts already as they were off my car so only only lost time, postage and packaging really. PITA though. If he was in Preston, Blackburn etc i may have gone to fetch them but think he is a bit far south!

Tis a good idea but if a user hides behind a proxy/cache server we do not see the indivudal IP address. Banning him would also ban a good many users.

I still think tha the idea of posting on every one of his posts warning potention victims is a good idea, as I said earlier on, I would hate to be ripped off and not given the chance of knowing who this guys is, we need to do it to stop it happening again.

If that don't sort it isn't there a mini portsmouth meet? and a few local members? I know I'm not far away in Bournemouth for a small collection fee (as most reputable collection agencies charge paid for b the offender) I'm sure something could be sorted!
