DOOCE – NEGATIVE – £350 for scrap
Moderator: martauto
Basically been sold a moonroof panel which he said is from an e30, however from the part numbers I can piece together and managed to find, turns out it links back to a vehicle from general motors, paid £350 for this..
Pm’d, sent texts and called a few times, and the overall response is basically screw you,
First time I’ve had issues with trading on here, sent pictures of the panel in place its clear as day there has been a balls up, I’ve done it before as a seller but in those instances I’ve sorted it out,
280 mile round trip + the cost of it is not cheap...
What seemed a good buy turns out to be nothing but Vauxhall scrap! And I could not see the mounting points on the tray as it was closed down, from the face of it looked promising, Was told it was a straight bolt in jobbie and had no issues in trusting this ”atrader”a, Lesson learned!
Knew my intentions were to bolt out, bolt in the new panel, clearly didn't have a clue as to what he was selling,
Before selling stuff maybe you should actually look at it, do your own research and see if its applicable to what your advertising it for?
End of the day mistakes happen, that’s cool no worries, it’s not for an e30 as advertised so I would like my money back as its of no use to me, may be of use for someone else,

Even though the Zone isn't responsible for what's bought & sold, on here, & any disputes which result from them. Dooce needs at the very least, needs to come on here, & give us an explanation, as the silence is deafing.

Well he has an m3 leather interior he's selling for a grand, which he ever so kindly agreed to knock off £200 and flog to me, which I can only assume is a wind up, or a very optimistic sales pitch, after I told him about his cock up,
Yeah im really gonna buy some shite interior off you ain't I? and btw did it look like I needed it, or do you just sell duff parts and pass them off as originals, and conveniently meet with buyers in pub car parks, cause you know its a crock of shit?

Its easy to make a mistake, these parts are 25years old etc, but if you do its hands up, and a prompt refund, bit of a nuisance but only decent thing to do.
If you have no joy, keep every bit of the deal on paper, and its the small claims court if you have the resolve. Doesn't cost much, and having a ccj on your credit record is the last thing you want. Best sorted well before you go down that path.

Selection of BMW hardtops available, please ask!
Bought two pop out window sets from him. He stated them to be complete. I have recieved them and instantly opened - only one set have all necessary parts(seals, hinges, bolts, plastic covers). The other set consists just of windows. Besides that, one mounting on the second set lacked rivet,so the mounting is bent, so I think it would not fit properly to car body.
Will inform about result of resolving this problem.

My own arranged courier came to his place and picked up packed package. So, I know all info about him.
But anyway, I am waiting for his respond in paypal. Hope he will respond and try to solve this situation. I have opened a disput and willing to recieve bits a have not recieved in two week time. After that I will send a claim to paypal.
