This is the ops' for sale thread for a set of 15" BBS "recently refurbished" wheels.

http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... c&t=229523

I think a visit to Specsavers might be the order of the day, as the following images quite clearly detail that the wheels sent to me have no resemblance to the advertised images, or the description..

They are the same wheels as in the advert, but I wouldn't class them as refurbed! :(
How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Bang em on ebay and i bet you make a couple of quids, bit of hassle i know and dont blame you for not being happy as they where suppose to be mint but imo you will get your money back plus a quid or two if your lucky!

Those tyres look beyond their useful life, I wouldn't be wanting to take any precious metal, or life, out on those. The rims look like a reasonable used set that you would normally be happy with if they wern't described as refurbished. I'm sure Kami has just made a mistake, and will be sending you a part refund shortly when he returns to looking at his emails... :?
Selection of BMW hardtops available, please ask!

Tyres need replacing - but they are not the issue. The alloys are meant to be "mint". If ///KAMI is an honourable man and has made a mistake, I look forward to hearing from him and reaching an agreement. I doubt this, though.

Looking at the for sale thread it does look like you got excited and bought them without properly looking at them. Although the original pics do make them look better than your pics.

Internet buying through pictures is alot about trust. Have to say im 50/50 on this one but they are not as described so ide be after some bank of england 'mint' back as there not as described.

I looked at the pics and also read through both of his threads.

"They have just been refurbed and have done around 50 miles on the car since and are now of the car"

"The wheels are in mint condition"

Images were a bit ropey, but I put that down to the quality of the camera. I could see one slight ding on one of the wheel rims.

The pics prove things to be different.

As you say, bit of trust, goodwill and honesty, really.

To be fair, they look superficially good - from a distance.

But to describe them as "mint" is indeed stretching it a bit...
