Any ideas what is the best way of fixing this part on ( i.e glue, silicone etc ? ) It's the black plastic strip that runs along the bottom of the window glass. I have this part arriving soon and dont fancy messing it up !!!

I used black mastic from a plumbers' merchant and it worked a treat. Just have a rag on hand to wipe away excess mastic.

Mine just pushed in,(as the bishop said to the actress) try to avoid lubricants such as ferrari liquid,as they contain salt...
