The timings bad I know, but as it's still mainly sunny and warm here, yesterday I began rubbing down the lower sills near the jacking points. I took it down to bare metal, treated with a rust killer/(halter for a little time) and then primed. I'm going to later rub down the black sills completely and give them a coat of satin black.
Question: what is the neatest way of spraying them and correct way when using rattle cans. I'm not forking out for a respray, so this will have to suffice.
Also, I have some small rust bubbles on the bonnet where stones have chipped and along the side of rear door; it's very minor. I'm going to do as above, and will try to get hold of Laguna Green in a specially mixed can, but I need to know the best way of getting the best results with 'touching up' (oo er mrs!)
Cheers mateys
