hi there, currently in the process of painting my rocker cover and inlet manifold, ive polished the cover down using a wire bursh machine (or whatever the proper name is for it lol)

now its time to paint it, im after a shiny laquered finish, got some black heatproof but how would i achieve the shiny finsih... would it be okay to laquer over the top but would this not peel off when it gets hot? wodnering if anyone out there has done it,
thanks in advance guys,
billy
