Right i need to sort my car out which has a new respray. the paint has had time to seal and it was baked on. so its ready for detailing.

should i wash my car with a mirofibre lambs wool mit and apply all waxes sealants etc with the same mit?

i was thinking of buying a waffle towel to dry it with as c76 jon seems to reccomend them.

i think im going to use sonuns green(ultra fine) clay.

and as for selant i dont know. suggestions please.

then what should i use after sealant? :?

i dont have a porter cable or any other polushing machine so i will have to use products that can be applied by hand

any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Sam

Zaino sealants imho are the best for durability and results... After the sealant you don't really need anything but a bottle of Z6 or Z8 for inbetween coats of sealent and as the final stage is recommended by Sal Zaino

pm me to find out where to get it from....

All the best

Nick.

you will apply products with say microfibre application pads

use a different one for each product

remove with top quality microfibre cloth

waffle weave drying towels are incredible again these are microfibre

as nick has said zaino sealants are by far the best for finish and durability

mitts for washing

waffle weave for drying

some applicator pads (rounds and about 1/2 inch thick usually) for applying...........no guesses there then

and then a decent microfibre cloth for removal, about a 6 or 8 inch square cloth is about right

and you will want seperate applicators/cloths for each product (i.e one of each for sealant, and then another cloth for the z6/z8 etc)
