Saggy Roof Linning

The back half of my roof linning is sagging (touring) can some sort of spray glue be used any idears please?

I have the same thing. I'm going to wait until the warm weather returns - peel the headlining back, clean off what old glue I can and use some new glue - possibly a spray glue.

There is mention on the forum (and I had already tried without success) of using a hair dryer to heat the old glue through the headlining while pushing the headlining back with a wire spoon with slots in (out of mum's kitchen).

So you could give that a go but the weather is too cold for this game unless you are lucky enough to have a large warm garage.

no got the front sport bit only looks ok as the roof is black,

my brother has now got a 325i touring with saggy linning

I bought some spray glue years ago from a car stereo shop when I was building an acoustic parcel shelf and I think I bought it there. I can't remember the name of the glue and don't know if it will work yet...

I've gone a bit internet mad here

A .you can either use high temp spray glue or the tined spread contact adhesive that we supply the spray glue is easier to use but the contact glue is sometimes more affective

I looked under the specificly for vinyl perforated roof lining but there were no products listed

so generally the people have used glue described as - Aerosol High Heat Adhesive - even basic stuff from woollies

still gotta wait for much warmer weather for this to actually stick and it will stink too no doubt

maybe we need to ask a trimmer that has done an E30 as all the materials are different. The Saab article has completely different material so that's why I posted so many links as I'm not sure which will work best. Some have had bad results with spray glue so... who knows until we try...
