gonna vht paint the rocker cover and inlet manifold tommorow
what i wanna know is how long do i bake the paint for in the oven??
and do i put it into a hot oven or put in then fire it up??
cant be arsed doing this again so want a perfect fonish first time

place in a pre-heated oven until wrinkles form. about 15 minutes.
daz, i assume your doing this while your wife is out shopping or something? or have you got a spare oven?

Im not sure if you need to "bake on" standard VHT paint ! ?
if you do use the oven, open all of the windows too.

i put mine on top of the burners..(top up) you gotta have a bloody big oven to get a rocker cover in!!

i put it on the top for about 10 minutes ...you could see the paint cure ...but the oil on the underside caught fire though..lol.....i forgot your was 4cylinder...a lot shorter
