Not sure if this the right section...
I have a lovely E30 convetible with tired cloth interior. My search for replacement leather seats lead me to this...
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302303858982
Has anybody got any experience in recovering their old fabric seats with leather? Is it even doable? And if so, how good is the result?
Thanks
Anybody recovered fabric seats with leather?

There's no reason why you can't switch from fabric to leather or vice versa, the panels and bolsters are all the same size. I would be wary of ebay covers though, much better to get original parts for a guaranteed good fit. Zone member Brutus is probably the go to man for these items.

Thanks - I thought they were the same underneath but that is great to know. Was not aware OEM parts were still available. Will get in touch with Brutus.Cloggy Saint wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2020 1:56 pmThere's no reason why you can't switch from fabric to leather or vice versa, the panels and bolsters are all the same size.
