Hi all, :twisted:
Im looking to give my m tech 1 325is a respray.... It is currently metallic charcoal grey but with obvious bodywork problems, ie recently rebuilt rear arches and lacquer flaking on both rear wings... Just wondering what the best option is, should i go for a slightly different colour, for example, black as night, or is original colour always best? :cool:
WANTED: 24V E30... :)

Just my opinion but id go for original colour. If you change it the value of the car would drop.

Basically it will cost you more to change from the original colour as you will have all the door shuts & under bonnet area to do, and unless it's a top job probably be worth less than if it was re sprayed in an original colour. Just my thoughts anyway.

Yeh that is kinda what i thought.... I suppose its never good messing with originality especially in terms of the value of the car in the long run.... :wink:

I just though it would look so good with a midnight black with some chrome e36 m3 motorsport alloys....just gettin carried away as usual.... :D

I have an 86 325is with a 4 stud fitment.... and have seen the 4 stud replicas before on other cars... Do you know where i can get them brand new cos everyone i seem to ask doesnt know where to get them... :cool:

i have 2 sets. both used and have kurbing. one set may be up for sale the other definately is. two have good tyres, 2 need tyres.
