ive just got hold of an m-tec kit in blue, but my bm's silver. ive sanded it right back to the base white (hard work) and filled in any chips and sanded everything smooth. what i want to know is whether i have to sand between spraying layers or when??? apparently after the final coat, i have to wet n dry evrything before applying the laquer but im a bit confused with all this sanding malarkey, so if any1 can help me out that would be sweet.

easy clem
i think once you have done the first rub down and then put ur primer on, then its a case of rubbing down again with a fine grade paper.
one u have done this then put ur silver base coat on then once dryed ur laquer. use flexible paint.
worked in a body shop for a short time a long while ago, so correct me if i am wrong anyone!

Never rub down the colour coat before lacquering!

If you've never sprayed before, then i suggest you find something easier to learn on...

You will need a decent paint with plasticisers mixed in to stop it chipping off.

I would practice on one of the smallest pieces first, I assume your using a compressor / gun not aerosols....
