The guy who owned my car before saw fit to put a plastic GB sticker on the boot. The total gimp must have used double sided sticky tape.
I've tried everything to get it off. T cut, Farecla, auto glym paint restorer and even eventually WD40.
Has anyone got any suggestions?

To get the sticky off, petrol on a rag, or a rubber block will rub it off

There's also stuff available in aerosol cans to deal with the residue. Smells like orange juice.

I hate paintwork at the best of times. I'm much more of a spanner and hammer monkey so i'm gonna resist the power tools for the time being i think.DanThe wrote:Yeah, and most of the paint around it...pac1982 wrote:a mop and some mild cutting compound will have it off in seconds

Just had a bash with petrol with a bit of effect. Saw the misses's nail polish remover on the side. That sorted it right out.

we are not talking about removing a sticker we are talking about removing a sticky residue from the paint work, similer to what your mother has to keep doing with the socks she finds under your bedDanThe wrote:Only a fuctard uses a mop to take off stickers, has to be the worst advice ive read on here in a long time, apart from that plank that keeps spouting on about how good kio's are,,,,pac1982 wrote:hence why i said mild compound you monkey besides only a fuctard damages paint work using a mop even with an aggresive compoundDanThe wrote: Yeah, and most of the paint around it...
