Get a decent wax on it. I use Autoglym hd wax and can't fault it.

what you want to do is take all the crud/shite the dealers put on it first

a good durable wax or synthetic sealant will be whats needed, but you'll need to prep it with a polish first

options are endless, but it may be worth taking it to a professional detailer for a "protection" detail. its not as costly as you'd think

Your dealer should have offered you paint protection/sealant and interior protection it's expensive tbh and the dealers make a hefty mark up but it does work.

yip dont go with any dealer options and if possible, ask them not to clean or prepare it all as they tend to do more harm than good!

I would agree with Kos that if you are going to the expense of a new car, it is worth going to a recommended detailer to get it prepared and protected properly. Should only be a couple of hundred quid which is nothing compared to the purchase cost.

Miglior or Midlands Car Care are two good ones in your area.

i would suggest clay bar, CG Mirror Wet Finish and a couple of coats of a hard wax, like HD Wax or colnite double coat. I find the CG mirror wet and Colnitie double coat works fantastically on darker colours.
