best stuff to remove light scratches

Hi whats the best stuff to remove light scratches?

g3 compound, t-cut or is there anything else? its for a metallic car.

Alot of the stuff on the shelves i find too abrasive for old paint (at least for mine) The auto glym resin polish i used seems quite nice.

I think most people would go for a touch up pot of paint on a cocktail stick, then blend it in with compound?? Edit: probably better for deeper scratches.

The Autoglym Super Resin Polish is said to have some filling compound to fill scratches slightly at the same time as a mild cutting and waxing.

the super resin polish is exactly what it say it is, a polish

it will polish out very very light hazing/ fine scratches but it mainly re vitalise paint. if you apply it with a rotary polisher you can have amazing results and it will mask and get rid of swirls

a good all rounds product but to get the most out of it, wax or use a sealant after

You wont find better than Gtechniq P1 for both use by hand or by DA or rotary. It will also refine done to leave a pretty much hologram free finish. Super Resin Polish is also a great alternative just make sure you are not using more than the size of a pea per panel and work it with medium pressure until it goes clear. Dont just wipe it on and leave it. You should then do the next panel and when that is finished come back and remove the previous one.

AG SRP contains some fillers so won't actually remove all traces. you need a propper polish, use megs, 3M, Mezerna etc, use a fine grade polish and it will remove the scratches in no time.
