my question is: has anyone used this stuff or similar? does it work and is it worth trying out?

Renovo is very good. Unfortunatly my cabby roof is far beyond renovo :(

I used it on my wifes old TT as it was all engrained in the green shit and faded and it came up really well.

Plus it protects it for a good while too.

2 litre of renovo will have that roof looking brand new, one coat is not enough.

I have always relied on autoglym hood and fabric cleaner, its the dogs bo lloxx always worked on cabs and the protection it leaves afterwards is well worth it too!

renovo mate is the way forward. Get the three bottle kit, cleaner, dye and proofer. I have just saved a disaster of a hood with it. it took a full day and a lot of elbow grease but looks cracking now. Just be careful with the dye, DO NOT get it on you paintwork.
