For cleaning I found that the best method was to remove the seats then use the Glipton Cleaner with a small nail brush working away on the leather till most of the crap has came off. Using a damp microfibre cloth as you go to lift the dirt.
It works OK at removing dirt but 20+ years of wear will never go back to looking like the leather did when new.
Once clean apply the conditioner on with a soft cloth, leave for about 30 mins then buff afterwards.
For dyeing have a look at a website called Furniture Clinic there have been a few on hear have used it with great success.

if you're dying/re-colouring at all make sure to completely clean/degrease the area first with methylated spirits or similar otherwise the colour rubs or peels off in no time.
It's like anything, the results depend on how well you prep the seats beforehand...if you're doing the whole seat defo remove it and make sure to give it 2 coats minimum - allowing to dry completely between coats - I used the Mrs's hairdryer becuase I'm a bit of an impatient git but the results were fantastic and still are.
Once youve finished the colouring and it's fully dry treat with the gliptone/similar leather conditioner, let it sink in overnight and then give it another coat the following day. You then need to make sure to clean and condition every few weeks to keep the leather and colour in good shape (avoid cleaning with water - use baby wipes....cheapest and most effective that I've found!)
Rich.
