Since my shadowline trims are oxidized on some places I would like to refurbish them.
I would like to have a lasting finish so my options are powdercoating or anodizing.
For those two options I have to strip all color of trims.
Do you maybe how to strip factory paint from trims?
Are they factory painted/powdercoated/anodizing?
Thanks, Joze

I am refurbing mine at the moment. Wet sand as you would normal car bodywork, then clean, de-grease, prime and spray, that should do the job fine, no need for powdercoating etc.

I recently did mines on both cabs, no need to go through the headache, simply take them off, hand them to a decent powder coater; they only need a light rub, you don't have to remove all the original colour.

holts number one colour match in black sating.
Literally wipe them down....spray the new paint on and bingo. You dont even need to be good at spraying as the paint is so forgiving. Dries super fast and looks 100% oem.

Where can I buy this L116, I can't find it on ebay or some internet shop that would ship it to Slovenia.
Any advice?
