I need to repaint my boot. I have a decent spray gun and compressor. Can I use acrylic laquer? If I use a solid colour will I be able to wet and dry out slight orange peel? Should one liter do the boot?
I do not think I have spelt lakka/laquaa/what ever correctly

You can if you use acrylic paint. Most are cellulose though.

Woah, these sound like budget cheap paints! Get yourself some serious products to do the car mate do yourself a favour. You can either base it up and lacquer it (thats how you spell it lol) with 2k HS or MS stuff (high solid or medium solid) Or you can buy 2k Direct gloss with rapid hardener. (This must be done in a garage and leave it overnight and kept as warm as possible)
applied quite simply and very straightforward. I'm sure there are videos on youtube. Bang it on once and give it 5 - 10 mins then bang it on again. Leave to dry and this stuff can be flatted and polished with 1500 / 2000 grit paper. Results should be pretty good mate. Its mixed 2:1 and 10% thinners. Good luck and take some snaps!

If your car is Metallic best to Use basecoated and then go over with Lacquer (most are cellulose paints now. If its solid you can get a cellulose one step paint.

They are very well used by zoners, i have ratlle cans for painting from them and a small pot for my airbrush for very small touch up areas. You can actually get a decent finish even with their rattle cans which says something about their quality.
