i have a mellon size blemish on front of bonnet above headlight and lots of small scratches on top of right wing like it had been through a bush or something i think previous owner had attempted to sort blemish the colour is cirrus blue matalic and the blemished part has an off silver colour to it why is this?can a spray repair kit that i found on paints 4u easily fix this without to much hassle?

What sort of melon? Watermelon? Cantaloupe? In any case sounds pretty bad as melons are quite big, as fruits go.

No way to answer your questions properly without seeing a picture.

There are various means to deal with differing levels of scratches or abrasion on your paintwork. Shallow ones can be dealt with by using T-cut or a similar product. Deeper ones usually require a touch-up kit.

The finished result will only be as good as your skill or patience allows.
