Headlight polishing

What can I use to polish the headlight glass.

my friend actully used t-cut on his CLK and it came out good

The polish for glass is cerium oxide use in conjunction with felt polishing pads on a rotary polisher, polishing glass is tricky and hard work so be warned.

nahh, hand with a polishing cloth! But I'm just thinking the CLK has plastic lights

I seem to remember reading something about refurbing headlights using soap powder - the stuff for your washing machine - inside the case and give it a good shake. Apparently it's miraculous. Might have read about it on BMW5 if anyone cares enough to go off researching.

Otherwise, I know lenses can be machine polished, but it's a delicate enough operation and probably not for amateurs.

For Glass and Plastic use Auto Glym Glass Polish, it has a slight cutting action to get rid of small scratches, take some elbow grease but the results are good, or you can use pro products and a DA or Rotary Polisher.
