Morning Folks, I've a spare dash that has two small cracks in it "in the usual place" ie around the tray in the passenger side. I'm also thinking of getting the dash flocked, has anyone any suggestions how to repair the cracks prior to sending the dash off?

Regards
Iain

The people flocking the dash should be able to sort the cracks out. When I sent mine away they didn't even say anything about the crack and the flocking process covered them

Is there a way to prevent a dash cracking?

I think the only way is to never park or drive the car in sunlight or use the heaters. I'm guessing its because the basic dash is a steel fabrication as that expands more than the covering, hence over time small cracks start to appear which grow into larger cracks.

Move to Scotland - we get that little sun that none of our dashes are cracked.
