I've used one like this at work to clean up all sorts of metal parts. Depends on the medium you are using, ours was quite fine so not so efficient for blasting off lots of rust but great for making aluminium parts look nice. Sump, timing covers, cylinder head cover etc. and anything else I could fit in the cabinet.

Thanks guys, was hoping it wasn't too "Mickey Mouse".
Already have a suitable compressor so makes for a cheap option for tidying up smaller bits and pieces.
