remove bostick from plastics

I would like to remove the burr walnut dashboard, panels and so on.
I fear however is that the waste remains Bostick glue or other hard to remove ...
What do you think?

In my opinion it looks good but you could buy another center console without the walnut trim and sell this one because i think they are preety rare (fitted on alpina, if i am not mistaken) . As for the dash i think you could remove glue remains with a solvent like acetone .

Bit of a trade secret this and I trust you wont tell anyone....

to remove hot glue or bostick as you guys call it, simply spray or dribble some methylated spirits over and around the glue and it will brake free...

Do not use any solven on it as it will not work and will more likely destroy what you are trying to save..

Believe me I do this every day all day and and am constantly using hot glue of some sort, this is the only method that gets it off...
