Hi, I've got a decent replacement rear spoiler due to the paint on mine being cracked. I need to prime and paint the replacement, but as it's made of rubber do I have to use a specific silicon primer / paint? If so, can anyone recommend some for Alpine White?

i think you have to get some "activator spray" for this kind of painting so the primer will have something to stick to.im not sure of where you can get it though

This is already painted so I'm hoping it just requires a prime / paint. I just wondered if a more "flexible" paint is needed to prevent cracking in the future.

there is a flexible paint that was used on the z1 to allow the panels to adapt to the heat.its called varioflex paint.i seriously doubt this type of paint was used on anything apart from the z1 as its very expensive.hopefully an expert will come along and help its still all new to me but hope it helps either way
