black rubber bits and shadowline

Whats the best way to brighten up those black rubber bits round the windows? And aslo how do i get rid of the patciness of my shadowline?

Hi Andy, I don't know if this will help but I just happened to be in my BMW dealer today and the replacement parts from them seem reasonable (by that I mean not astronomical!). They quoted me £20 for the bit that goes rearwards from the top of the quarter-light. Not sure about the other bits but I may well replace all of mine at some point.

You need to clean the rubber with an apc, megs triple brush gets in just right, then wash off.

I then follow with swissvax seal feed, its not long lasting but works.

I am looking at a more longer lasting sealant but fear it might make the rubber brittle over time.
