The rear view mirror parted company with the windscreen today. I asked the local BM dealer here in sunny Palma what did they use to stick it back on, thinking they might use a double sided tape but was directed to the motor factor round the corner to buy a blister pack of a type super gloo, and it works, but it dosn't adhere with that full black circle that the new cars have when seen from the outside. How to get that full black circle is my question?

Chris W, thanks for constructive reply. I have that part number, that is the metal mounting plate but with what is it stuck to the glass or does it come with the sticky stuff?
