wheel refurb - question about sealing

hi all - currently refurbing my wheels - and have done the primer and gloss white topcoats.

Am I best to seal it somehow? I presume a lacquer would be an option, or is there any sort of wax or other polishing system that would offer as much protection?

Nope.

Painting wheels is same as painting panels.

So you want a lacquer on after the paint. Let the paint harden for a few days/weeks then you want to be looking at something like Wheel Guard or Nanolex. FK1000p is good, but for me lasted just over 2 months.

sorry, little confused - are you saying a lacquer is best? or, that a wheel protect substance is better?

lacquer then a sealant to protect it from brake dust.

Yes expensive but mine has been on 5 months and still washes brake dust off like it is new.. I have tried zaino and many wheel sealants, nothing comes close.
