What is the best brush/mop/thing for BBS wheels?

What do BBS owners recommend for getting the crud out from between the spokes of our beloved wheels? My car gets filthy, I'm not talking about cotton buds here

I found a "teapot spout" brush at an old fashioned hardware shop ...just the right size and all of 90p..and Morat if you are at Hunters Bar it is on SharrowVale Road

£18, yes, and worth every penny. I use mine for engine bays and under and around suspension etc etc.. flexi so it is much more versatile than most.

The vikan range of brushes are great about £5.00 search on ebay and you will find them

On my 3rd ez brush, they dont last long for what you pay.

I use a proper swissvax brush for the rims and vikan long reach for the inners.

Depending on the alloy also a vikan wheel face brush for the, erm wheel face

Of course it does depend on how dirty and ingrained it is, if it really needs some work then an AG Brush (not to be confused with the AS brush) works as well.

These are the ones i use, you can get away with just using the Multi brush if they are not too dirty.

use these with a decent wheel cleaner and they should sparkle in no time

I got some wonder wheels and it came with a little brush nothing fancy but it did the job well got in to all the little nooks and cranys any small brush will work even a small paint brush

The black one (i have one) is fine for wheels which arnt that bad, but it is very soft.

However, the red/green one of same style seems to be too stiff for me.

A brush is a brush at the end of the day i hadnt properly cleaned my wheels in like 6 months only ever used soapy water and a sponge, but the little bog standard brush that came in my wonder wheels package cut through 6 months worth of brake dust and crud even in the smallest nooks & cranys on my BBS's

some wheels really dont like acid cleaners, they dull the paintwork.

yeah i dont like to use acid very often only about 3-4 times a year to give em a good clean.

I get to do acid damage on wheels everyday at work

But as with most things its right tools for the job.

Also, have you clayed them and then sealed them?

I have Wheel Seal and FK1000p for alloys, keeps em easier to clean.
