The spoiler on my tail gate is rubbish with that heavily weathered look. I was thinking the way forward was a heat gun bodge, but has anyone colour-coded theirs? Does it work well and what steps are involved?

Or a rub and satin hammerite? 600 grit ok, and brush alright as would be easiest to mask off bodywork than rattle can :D
