After almost passing my MOT today (handbrake adjustment and frlont light adjustment being done next week) I am happy to spend a little dosh on my motor and want to get some of the bodywork sorted. I want to get done as mush as i can myself before handing it over to the experts adn was thinking of replaceing the bonnet (looks like it got shut on some tools so dented in the middle) and also a rusty drivers side wing.

My question is, are th panels for an 88 convertible the same as all other models of similar age. I.e. can i put a coupe or touring wing and bonnet on my cabby?

cheers

Bonnets all the same on all models, including M3!

Front wings unique on convertibles, as they have a deeper sill sections.

Bonnet's are all same same IIRC

Cabby wing's are specific i'm afraid, they are longer at the bottom due to the deeper sills on the convertible.
