What, you mean the colour's wearing off? .......Or the surface of the leather's damaged?
I re-coloured mine when the colour went. I got a kit from here

I think its the begining of the leather to wear at the top of the wheel, its done dull and rough to the touch. Got it of ebay, not as good as it looked in the pictures. You live and learn. Might give this a try though.
Thanks
Scott.

Same here Scott just bought one from EBay stated as VGC... its ok but wouldn't say VGC
.
The leather on mine has gone the same way at about 10 to 2 on the wheel. I bought some stain from Furniture Clinic but all being a great product it didn't help so I have now ordered their leather repair kit that contains sand paper and filler so hopefully this with the stain will resolve it...

As Stu has already said, furniture clinic gear will make it look like new. I did my tech 1 wheel and it came up mint.

I wouldn't say mine's anywhere near
orlike new
but it's black again.mint
Someone with a bit experience probably would have done it better but it was my first attempt and as usual I got impatient and rushed it.
I may well end-up getting my local trimmer to re-leather it at some point.
