This is the before pic of my 132,000 mile leather driver's seat before the cleaning and conditioning treatment.

This is the after shot of that same seat!

If anyone had any doubts about what treatment to use to get their seats back to looking their best then I hope those have disappeared throughout this last post!

+1 for gliptone here - it is really excellent. Not too pricey online either.
BTW - very nice seats!

Take lots of time to do it. Work it really well into all the nooks and crannies. Condition it at least twice (unless your leather is pretty much ok on its own anyway) and give it lots and lots of time for the conditioner to soak into the leather. Overnight whenever possible.

It's been a couple of weeks since I did mine and I'll be doing yet another coat this weekend :)

Gliptone conditioner arrived yesterday, I attacked the passenger seat immediately & left it overnight. This morning the seat was dull as if it needed to be buffed, although the instructions say not to buff. will this be absorbed? Before the treatment in some places my leather was dry from the sun (tops of the back seats for example), this was one of the main areas that concerned me as these appear to be still dry.

thanks for the help

I'd give it another coat. It's taken three coats now for mine to be quite noticeably better. It might take a little more attention on areas that will dry out quicker (such as the tops of your seats) that are exposed to the sun more...

I did the rest of the seats, this stuff is good!!

Previously dry areas have softened already, i took extra time to work it into creases and the tops of the seats and left it overnight to soak in. Although my seats are in good condition, I think they will need another couple of coats to get the result that I am after.

BTW the aroma inside the car this morning was great! :D

Along with the BMW plastic emulsion, the best stuff I have ever used
