My front wings trim are faded and look grey...is there any way to treat them to be black again? I tried back to black stuff but it holds untill next wash

I use Autoglym bumper care for all black plastic and window rubbers it lasts quite a long time :)

on an old golf i had i yoused back to black with parts of and gave a rely thick coat of lacker right round like a shell. it was a last ditch resort to a problem but relay worked and lasted as long as i had the car. year +
Yer i am sorry for my bad spelling. i am dislexic and find it just as hard to read your posts as you do mine.

Yes autoglym Bumper care is good stuff, dont need much to go round the trim on an E30

a heat gun or if she will let you, a hairdryer. use this on all faded plastics. brings them up like new

Yup a heat gun is the trick hear mate.... We use it all the time when rejuvenating plastics.... Plastics go off because of the UV... Heat it up and its like magic..... I promise

shaddowline around the windows is painted metal. a proper, slightly abrasive polish will make them shiney and like new witha bit of elbow grease.

i use autoglym super resin polish, but anything similar should help. i found that adding back to black type products worked for an instant shine, but faded and went streaky quickly, and seems to attract dust and grime.

nothing happened :(

I really don't get it...all door mouldings are like new, only front wing ones have faded to grey...shoe polish is next step

Chemical Guys new look trim gel is the business for this sort of thing - highly recommended by me.
