Hi all...
Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I can recommend boot polish for tyre walls... this will leave a long lasting black shade to your tyres (not a wet look) but it wont damage the tyre walls like so many expensive products out there - too much wet look will crack tyre walls...
Just a thought!! I really have picked up some great tips on this forum - keep em coming & pics of my white 325 M Sport soon
Thanks
Iain

I had forgotten this one - used to use it on my hotted '78 Corolla in the eighties. Couldn't afford the fancy products (student) so raided mum's cleaning cupboard!!!

Hi Ian
I've used AG Tyre shine, Armour all Tyre shine, Zaino Z-16 and others for as long as I can remember and never experienced any cracked tyre walls. Never used boot polish, but one thing I do know is that polishes like 'Kiwi' contain high levels of spirits. I wouldn't advise using it on tyres, TBH
